Saint Alan and Saint Columban are two unique Catholic parishes clustered in a relationship established by the Archdiocese of Detroit in 2007. Saint Alan and Saint Columban serve Catholics in the south west corner of Troy and the south east corner of Birmingham. The parishes maintain their identity and share a pastor, religious education coordinator and work together serving their members and neighbors in both individual and coordinated liturgies, programs, activities and other shared projects.
Our Goals of Christian Service:
Encourge all parishioners to strive for peace, justice and equality.
- Provide opportunities for parishioners to share their gifts with individuals coping with difficult situations.
- Educate parishioners about Catholic social justice.
- Build community partnerships to better serve others and promote the Kingdom of God.
The Christian Service Commission makes decisions in their respective area of parish life and relates to the Pastoral Council and Pastor. With that being said, Father Donald Demmer (pictured on the right) and his incredible staff would like to welcome you to the churches of Saint Alan & Saint Columban.
